Calcium nitrate (CaNO3)

Aim for a nitrate level of 10-20 ppm. If a water test shows a high level, change some of the aquarium water. If it is low, add nitrate.
Adjust the dose to suit your plants, lighting and CO2 level.
Instructions for use:
Dissolve contents completely in 500 ml warm (preferably reverse osmosis) water. A dose of 10 ml per 100 litres raises nitrate by 10.5 ppm and calcium by 3.4 ppm. The hardness (dGH) will increase by 0.5 ppm.
EC fertiliser. Simple fertiliser. Calcium Oxide (CaO) 26.5%, Nitrate (N) 15.5%.
Adjust the dose to suit your plants, lighting and CO2 level.
